Interview in the Luzerner Zeitung on the Kriens Pilatus Tower - the tallest planned residential building in Switzerland as of today - by Urs Hofstetter-Arnet, Certified Specialist SBA Construction and Real Estate Law. The maximum building heights have already been conclusively determined in the zoning plan and the development plan. The possibilities for exerting influence in the building permit procedure are limited to the specifications that are not binding in the development plan procedure, such as design principles for the high-rise buildings and open spaces (e.g. the formal language of the architecture, façade design, choice of materials and colours). In the opinion of our building rights expert Urs Hofstetter, the opposition of the objectors is simply too late; they should have already participated in the earlier development plan procedure.
